Paul is a non-executive director of Brookwell, a quoted Guernsey-based investment trust with investments in 80 small-cap and AIM listed stocks. He is now heavily involved in the QCA in his role as Deputy Chairman particularly in the areas of the role of the non-executive in today's environment and corporate governance and heads up their non-executive committee. He was recently part of the QCA delegation to the European commission discussing inter alia prospectus, rights issue and exemption limits for smaller quoted companies.
Paul is a Criticaleye Associate and brings to that role years of experience in working on public company boards in a wide range of activities, strong city connections and a healthy cynical approach to business and regulatory issues.
In his executive life, Paul has over 40 years plc experience across a spectrum of commercial and industrial activities, including international assignments having most recently been on the board with Fuller, Smith & Turner Plc (premium brewing and retailing) from 1991 to 2008. Paul gained his training with Ernst & Young where he worked in London and Paris.
He is a graduate of Cardiff University with a degree in Accounting and Economics and is married with two grown up children. He has recently bought a house near Céret on the French/Spanish border. He is a regularly bad player of tennis and golf.
